Things of interest
« on: February 03, 2012, 11:14:11 PM »
The forums seem kind of down these days :/ Anything that you guys can think of to make them more lively?

Also who you got? Pats or Giants?

I'm feeling the pats by 3

Theses playoffs, i've been very confident with my picks (i had pats vs giants at the beginning of the super bowl) but with this game i don't know who to pick. All i believe is that it's going to OT.

If the super bowl went to overtime the NFL would be forced to change their OT rules to college style rules next season because everyone would be in uproar of how bad OT is in the NFL. So I can get behind an OT game. Now I need to go buy some more food.

I'll be rooting for the giants. But unless they can stop brady to welker it'll be a long day.

Lol I will be using the Superbowl as a traffic free opportunity to drive back to MA, I might turn it on when i get back to see the score, but I've never been that into following a team. It should be interesting to (hopefully) see all the highways completely empty.

I'm really curious. How did that work out for you?

I'd assume there'd still be 18 wheelers going.

I imagine the roads must have been pretty clear. Though as half time rolled around alot of people seem to stop feigning interest and leave. So not sure how far of a drive it was for you but I imagine clear for a good 2 hours. Probably not many cops on the roads either.

Well in CT there were still people out...more than I expected but once we hit MA and there were pretty much no cars I realized it's likely cause MA is the home of the New England Patriots and CT isn't. New York highways were probably very clear as well. We saw two or three signs in MA on the highway saying "Fans Don't Let Fans Drink And Drive"...we had arrived before the drunk came out which was good as well lol.

I turned on the TV and the game had just ended maybe a minute earlier, I had to wake up at 6 the following morning so I just saw who won and then got ready for sleep.

Apparently in Boston today there was a pile of butterfingers candy that were left, as a "message" about how the patriots kept dropping the balls lol...people were offended enough for it to make the evening news lol.
